Privacy Policy

This is a small, personal website. I’ve written this policy in plain English so you can read it once and know exactly what happens with your information here. If anything is unclear, please write to me and I’ll explain.

Who runs this site

This site is owned and operated by Narmadha Mani, based in Chennai, India. Any questions about your data can come straight to me — there is no team, no third-party data broker.

What I collect

I collect only the information you choose to give me:

  • Your email address, if you download a free chapter or worksheet.
  • Your name and message, if you write to me through the contact form.

I do not collect personal data through analytics, advertising trackers, or hidden third-party scripts. There are no advertising cookies on this site.

How I use your information

If you give me your email address, I use it to:

  • Deliver the lead magnet (free chapter or worksheet) you requested.
  • Occasionally let you know about new writing or the book’s release — nothing more.

If you write to me through the contact form, I use your name and email only to reply to you. I do not add contact-form submissions to any mailing list.

Who I share it with

I share your data with two services, and nobody else:

  • ConvertKit — stores lead-magnet email subscriptions (free chapter and worksheet downloads) and sends those emails on my behalf.
  • Resend — delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.

Both are reputable email providers with their own privacy practices. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone.

Analytics

I use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-first by design. Plausible is cookieless and GDPR-friendly. It does not collect personal data, does not use cross-site identifiers, and does not track you across the web. I see only aggregate numbers — how many people visited a page, where they came from, and what country they’re in — never anything tied to you as an individual.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies you may encounter are essential ones used by the site itself (for example, to keep a form from submitting twice). Plausible Analytics does not use cookies at all.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. You can:

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email I send. One click and you’re out — no questions, no hard feelings.
  • Ask me to delete your data by writing to me through the contact page. I’ll remove your record from ConvertKit and confirm when it’s done.
  • Ask for a copy of what I have on you — the same way.

This site aims to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the extent they apply.

How long I keep your data

Lead-magnet emails stay in ConvertKit until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Contact-form messages live in my inbox like any other email; I keep them only as long as I need to in order to reply and follow up.

Children

This site is written for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given me personal information, please write and I’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes — a new tool, a new use of your data — I’ll update this page and refresh the “last updated” date at the top.
